1995 Thunderbird Super Stock GT Rolling Chassis
This car was originally raced in NHRA Super Stock GT/E and has gone 10.40 seconds @ 130 MPH
with a early 1980s style Super Stock 351 Cleveland (non ported heads) at a weight of 3570
pounds with the driver. This car has also been raced in IHRA Super Stock Production G with
a 302. This car can run numerous NHRA and IHRA Super Stock and Super Stock GT classes and
would most likely be able to fit some of the NSCA classes. This car was featured in the
May 1998 issue of "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords".
This car was obtained from Ford Special Vehicle Operations in December of 1992. It was
a 1992 engineering brake test car. The body had 2,000 miles on it when I obtained it. It was
fabricated into a race car and has never been titled or driven on the street. The 1995 trim
pieces, hood, tailights and interior were obtained prior to finishing the car in 1995. The 1995
odomoter in the car shows 10,924 miles. This car has no title, but I have a bill of sale from
the Ford Motor Company subsidary that sold me the car. This car has always been a race car
and can only be a race car. This car cannot be titled for street use.
The roll cage was certified in 1995 at the NHRA Fall Classic. I guarentee it will still
certify.
