The IHRA Crate Motor Stock rules for a front wheel drive to rear wheel drive conversion allow the use of "mini tubs". Per the IHRA tech department, a "mini tub" is to be constructed from an OEM wheelwell. It can be split, spread and raised to accomidate 10.5 inch wide by 30 inch tall slicks. I purchased a set of 1969 mustang OEM wheelwells to build my "mini tubs" from. It would have been much easier to use a Chassis Engineering tub kit as I did in my Super Stock cars, but by using mini tubs the Probe does have a stock appearance.
