Project Probe - Front Suspension and Steering

The Probe was originally equipped with a firewall mounted "rear steer" power rack & pinion. This was removed to make way for the bellhousing and transmission. A "front steer" Wilwood (Pinto) rack & pinion was mounted on a tubular crossmember bent from 1 1/4" chrome moly tubing. The rack is located under the engine and forward of the centerline of the spindles. The front spindles were swapped from side to side. The spindles will still need to be modified to correct the bump steer.
