Project Probe - Front Struts

I could not find anyone that made a bolt-on drag race replacement strut for a Probe. That makes sense, you don't see many people drag racing stock bodied Probes. Even if someone did make a drag race strut for a Probe, it would probably be valved for a FWD setup. I found that several companies made replacement cartridges for Probes, one of the companies being KONI. I called KONI and spoke with their technical services department and found out that they could re-valve their cartridge inserts to my requirements, rear wheel configuration drag racing. This means that I will need to gut my original struts and use them as cores for making new struts. The next series of photos will show how I cut apart and modified my original struts with the new KONI inserts and how I replaced the OEM springs with 2.5" OD racing springs.
